i actually see him as a better sniper but he really destroyed that one game i played with yall, so i guess he is good at both

if by destroyed you mean his 30 kill assassin in a game that went to overtime where the total kill count was in his team's favor 150-20ish then sure. he's never really done anything impressive in a match of balanced teams or against his favor, he just plays for his k/d. gimme deadpool, manouso, or shammas any day

I want to play Murky so I can see just how he plays. If he plays strictly for stats, then the new name I'll make for him the the Free Win Assassin.

I've played murky's assassin in private matches, and I wouldn't say he's top 5 assassin's i've played but he's still good. I'd rather have knave play assassin and murky snipe

He's still good. The only main difference I see is that Murky juices to kill the slayers, whilst Deadpool juices to kill bot pushers. Both good strategies, one goes for the bots to sneakily put the ball down, the other tries to help the whole team push forward.

That would mean murky's strat would help get map control which helps make it easier to put the ball down. Murky's strat sounds better to me.

I wasn't there for the match I think y'all are talking about, but if I'm thinking of the same one, it was more of a pubstomping in a completely unbalanced private match. His team didn't need help getting map control as the enemy team was already spawn trapped.

Murky's strat sounds beneficial, but only in situations where you have an unbalanced team of slayers against you. His slaying may be able to get map control but you won't go to much further than mid map if you're assassin has to do the majority of the slaying. If you had a balanced team of slayers and are able to obtain map control fairly easily, it wouldn't be beneficial for the assassin to play that way. In the long run, it could help the team towards overtime if he had a lot of money saved up, but deadpool's strat would fair better here. He'll be in both lanes getting the bots as close to your ball as quickly as you can, and I believe that is more of a distraction against a team of good objective based players, then a slaying assassin.

If the tank wants to push the lanes and let the assassin go slay, it could work. However, I think a good rail gun adds more to the fight for mid map then an assassin. I am pretty sure I just said exactly what chron is thinkning too.

Lets talk strategies in the strategies section.

Murky is sniping and that's that. His Assassin playstyle doesn't apply to this team.

Speed and deadly accuracy did not have an Assassin as their child.

Speed did have an affair with deadly blades though, Deadly accuracy's older brother

murky's assassin strats have earned him a loss in every game where his team didnt put up +80 kills or more, deadpool's strats have earned him a number of fast wins and imbalanced cliffhangers where you just couldnt push his ball down. to be honest i think gunked is better than murky too by a decent margin at assassin because he puts up a fair number of kills but keeps the lanes clean and pressed fairly well, apatheticwrath had the same exact playstyle as murky and was stoned to death for it, but since murky can put up numbers in a softer era he gets praised for it lol

tl;dr thread, this point has dragged out though i was only really trying to quickfix a pubstomping solution where ppl hadnt been killing the ball, his sniper is pretty good but lets not be foolish and start praising slaying priority assassins because there is a good number of people who can do the same thing if that is the main target, especially on a stacked team
