Is there a download now that the community mods option no longer exists? I loved these maps.
Hey @qz231ice , check out this thread: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/new-pamm-server-pamm-version-1-5-2.72981/ , it contains instructions to get a new mod manager (PAMM, which stands for PA mod manager) that we can use now that the in-game one is gone.
My map pack, all the other map packs as well as most of the mods are available on PAMM; it's super easy to install / use, just download the current version: https://github.com/flubbateios/pamm-atom/archive/v1.5.2.zip , extract the zip and double click on the installer (install-windows.bat), it'll install the app on your desktop and launch it. Then you'll be able to search for mods and install them on the last tab, "Available mods".
Thanks for the compliment by the way .
Awesome thanks for pointing that out, glad PAMM works again!
New 4v4 map, "converge" (Team 1 spawns in the north (team 2 in the south), players 1&4 and 2&3 of team 1 spawn next to each other (players 1&2 and 3&4 for team 2)):
Note the point-symetry. interessting and still natural gameplay.
New 6v6 map called "biohazard" (same concept as converge but for 12 players):
I know what map we are playing next evening
Added a new map called "the void", it supports: 1v1, 2v2 unshared and 2v2 shared (or any shared setup).
Simple moon with few cracks / mountains; the shortest path between the bases doesn't have any metal - expansions are in the back and on the sides.
bigger stykades when
I'll generate a few versions now .
Just pushed Vega: 725 radius barren moon with 123 clusters of 3 mexes.
New 1v1 map called "North Sentinel" released:
Nice way to display a planet !
We need something like that for the in game system browser, and to see the maps in the lobby.
Lobby System Preview lets you see maps in the lobby, but the host needs to be running it.
but it doesnt show the metal spots so it is just amazing to watch and thats it.
Well, fixing that is outside Grand Homie's power, so...
I have the client installed which worked even when the host doesn't have it running, it's a nice start, but as tunsel11 says you can't see the metal, and the can't see the spawn points. This is a area that PA could do with improving if possible, it would be nice to see spawn points for non shared and how they related to lobby slots.
Also it doesn't help the host when selecting maps.
New 1v1 map called "The Marne" (550 radius / 87 metal)
Separate names with a comma.
