GOTY discussion aka METAL GEAR SOLID 5

I've enjoyed the MGS games I've played. haven't played one since Snake Eater, but I guess that's only one, huh.

There's been 3 main series games since Snake Eater. And Snake Eater is the greatest game of all time.

well that's a let down. ( and by that I mean not really because the last console I owned where I bought games was ps2). i use Wii as my netflix-o-rama

My main criticism of the fourth was that it was quite short on replay when you skip all the cut-scenes and then getting the big boss emblem was a much easier task than the previous games, so it felt even shorter.

Hopefully this will give me something to pour a few more hours into.

I do think the 4th was a bit easier in regards of the Drebin system. However, the gameplay was unmatched. The CQC and sneaking was amazing.

Having completely missed the whole series (ignoring those random times when I was like 10) until now I went on and pretty much pulled a Youtube marathon consisting of MGS 1-3.

Holy shit.

Seriously considering getting a PS3.

MGS3 and Peace Walker are probably the 2 most important to the storyline of the game. Not to say MGS, MGS2, and MGS 4 aren't important, but the bulk of the storyline is found within those 2, simply because they're focused on Big Boss, The Boss, Ocelot, and Zero.

I feel like doing a similar thing actually,luckily I already have a PS3.
