What part of "how vanilla did it" isn't clear to you?

    This is offtopic but anyway.

I prefer the range toggles that is in FA. It is much more powerful.

Does unit ranges still cause a lot of lag in SupCom or has that been patched?

In Forged Alliance, range indicators lag much more than in Supreme Commander. But the weapon ranges lag in both.

Shouldn't be that much of an issue with deferred shading.

I know getting the mouse navigation right is extremely important. However as an avid sc player I would like to add that it really needs well done hotkeys and camera hotkeys. This to me is much more important than how the mouse scrolling works, as I am honestly not going to use mouse nearly as much as control groups and camera keys, for the purpose of navigating and controlling my units.

Camera hotkeys and unit control group keys are engraved deeply into my play thanks to sc. I hope I am stating the obvious and this is already being implemented, however on off chance that it is not; I can not stress enough how important it is to me to have proper simple to use control group keys (1-0) and camera hotkeys (F1-F8).

In my mind the right way to navigate in this game is to be able to split up the screen so that I can make multiple mini maps of my different bases, etc. Along with the camera and group hotkeys to jump around to points of interest. I think that this would give players the ability to manage multiple bases (on different planets), battles, units, etc; in a dynamic and efficient manner.

I think they're going to implement something like that, based on the livestream.
