For me it's a risk mitigation strategy. Periodically, we must "accept" a new set of Steam terms & conditions. If you don't like those new terms & conditions and choose not to accept? Well, feel that chill run up your spine when you instantly lose access to all those games you thought you owned. I like Steam and have a large catalogue of Steam games, but I always prefer my games DRM free. So when given the choice, it's elementary.
Unless the Uber employees are burning the midnight oil, trying to get ready for beta, I would imagine that there will be no new build before beta tomorrow. Is there an employee who could confirm one way or another if there will be one more alpha build? I would much prefer a "no" than no information at all, at least then I can stop refreshing this thread. Thanks
I use steam for everything, not sure where all this negativity about steam is coming from. The community maybe? Well there are just a lot of them, and the more people you have gathered together, the more whiny assholes you'll find. I love the software, its amazing for keeping a huge library of games all up to date. Reformatting your computer is now super fast too. Not to mention I tend to get all my games for 50-75% off on various steam sales. /rant I must retire for the night... I was really hoping to get the "early access" beta, but I suppose I'll just play tomorrow. I know it'll be worth the wait though, quality over speed and all that.
