    MEANWHILE IN AL QAEDA

(well actually, it wasn't a GREAT Bond flick, but the best of the Brosnan ones.)

Brosnan was better than Daniel Craig at Bond. He was suave and had gadgets. Craig is just generic action hero with a British accent.

I agree, even though Casino Royale was the sh*t, and I think Craig is HANDSOME AS F*CK, he is a big RAH RAH RAH about Bond, and lost that gentleman quality Bond is known for.

I have yet to see Skyfall, though. Heard it was the jam.

    Needs more Connery.

Iunno, I was in Norway the entire time Skyfall was out. And didn't really feel inclined to watch it.

    wat

Connery is the best Bond, followed by George Lazenby, then Craig, then Moore, then Brosnan, and lastly Timothy Dalton The Brosnan Bonds were laughably bad, same for Dalton. Roger Moore just isn't cut to be Bond but at least the movies were somewhat redeemable. Craig plays the most accurate portrayal of Fleming's concept (save the blonde hair) while the films themselves are mediocre at best.

From how Skyfall ended (and also the re-introduction of Moneypenny and Q) it seems as though they've finished up the story of "Bond starting out" and are heading towards the older style where everything isn't all about his damned personal life and instead he's just saving the world all the time.

Is it weird to say that I preferred the suave, womanizing Bond over the more emotionally vulnerable Daniel Craig Bond? I dunno, the misogyny was often the best part of the Connery films.

    GEORGE LAZENBY? ick. No.

    Connery >>>> Brosnan >>>> Moore >>>> Craig > others

the order of Bonds, considering what the character is supposed to embody.

I like Craig's portrayal of Bond. Like Tasker said, feels a lot closer to Fleming's original Bond: a cold, remorseless, cynical killer. I've only watched Casino Royale though, maybe he turned to **** after that, I wouldn't know.

Connery is the best. Only scotsman I like a lot :p

What happened to the movies where the villains were evil madmen?

From what I have discerned, Skyfall was a return to that.

Die Another Day was that. Kind of. If you watched it all the way through, which I understand if you didn't.
