They also start attacking from spawn, instead of just doing something at close range, if they make it all the way to the first overhang on any map other than steel peel I consider my money well spent. If they get near the opponents base, I consider the other team crap.

By the time you realize there are gapshots to kill, they've already started doing damage.
I occasionally but one bunch then follow them with a level 2 cloak, killing bots along the way as they lead me to grapple targets, even facegrapples are deadly when gremlins are escorts. I'll try buying multiple bunches though to test that out.

The one thing to keep in mind is that it may not be useful to do the 9 gremlins if the other team has a lot of assassins and tanks since they tend to just cut through them. But if the other team is primarily the other classes, it can lead to a very successful push especially if your team knows what you're doing and assists the gremlins.

i learnt this trick in one of sunny dove's dual comments i think is as a sin when i spawn gremlins, i follow them and grapple whoever the gremlins target so i deal the grapple damage and the consistent damage from gremlins while the grapple animation takes place. have been successful so far.

I love it when my opponents spawn buzzers and I'm nearby. It's like shooting skeet filled with money.

Gapshots have an even chance of dropping any turrets not under the ring before they get out of immediate sight of the spawner. Unless you're being camped on your bot spawner, you'll typically get your money's worth out of them unless there's nothing for them to shoot.

Buy in multiples, at least 2. A single gapshot can be outhealed by a determined support.

Do not buy buzzers on Steel Peel. They mainly just go to the walls and talk to each other.

However, I find a lot of use in Buzzers later in the match, where regular bot output has increased. People are busy trying to destroy bots and defend that you can get free kills and assists because they just weren't paying attention.

Also standing near the Gapshots with Passive 2 makes them shoot faster and have more health.

I hate Bouncers like the plague. For some reason, they come toward me while I'm cloaked, and being the Assassin class, getting grappled with enemy pros around is a death sentence.

Gapshots are extremely useful when there's a good fight going on, especially with a lot of money saved up. There was one game on spunky where my gapshots were self-supporting. Every now and then I'd get a kill, and a ton of assists. Taunted after every one. Eventually I probably did nothing but spawn about 30-50 gapshots...I kid you not. Absolutely demolished the other team.

I do it on occasion as well but good assassins learn to stay by the bot spawn :(

Feel like spamming Gapshots? Assassin's got you down? No problem! A 1.1 firebase will keep her busy while you but a shotgun to her behind. ;)

I know but Gapshots are just so squishy. You kill the bitch but that doesn't bring your cute little gapshots back :(

Firebases are incredibly annoying to assassins, but that won't stop them from killing your pretty gapshots with a clip or two of shurikens.

My favorite use of gremlins so far was to have them chase an annoying support away from his firebase next to my bot spawn. At which point I gave him the gift of a back grapple; sadly, they didn't seem to go back for the firebase.
