BREAKING NEWS: Politician still doesn't understand video games: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/e...d-by-spotty-nerds-says-cbi-boss-10452182.html "Get outta here NERDS, we need artists!"
He isn't even a politician, he's head of a business group, who obviously has no idea what he is talking about.

Touhou 15 Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom came out yesterday. It's been described as "A touhou game that is actually somewhat difficult". You also get to play as Reisen for the first time, which is cool. Demo can be found here, otherwise it's standard import or piracy. No trailer, because when you have a fanbase as dedicated obsessed as this one there's really no need for one. Spoiler 'MERICA
http://store.steampowered.com/app/365450/ This game is amazing. It's seriously the best hacking game since Uplink. And it even improves on Uplink in a lot of ways, websites have actual web pages(!!!!) it's incredibly intuitive where Uplink could get really messy at times (anyone remember the LAN's in that game?), and it's story is also really engaging. There are also lot of cool little details in the game, one of which being the fact that you can hack your own computer and give yourself a BSoD! Why? Because hacking! The hacking is carried out in a sort of command prompt rather than moving windows around like Uplink, but it works in a way I didn't expect it to. You don't need any coding/hacking/engineering knowledge to play it at all, either, it's more a simulation of movie hacking like that other game I mentioned a couple times in this post... If you've been yearning to experience a game as clever and well made as Uplink was I definitely recommend picking up Hacknet. Spoiler I still hope we get Uplink 2 after Prison Architect is done though. Come on Introversion, you know you want it...
Fun fact they may or may not be true: Resistance: Fall of Man didn't always have a subtitle. But during a meeting someone put their hand up and said "Um, if you look up "Resistance.com" you get a neo-Nazi website". And then everyone panicked and a week later it had the subtitle. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u1e8R2Ka9g&feature=player_detailpage#t=4553
So it looks like MGSV isn't crap: Which is good to hear. Need dat port report though. Though I bet Konami Konami'd and didn't send him a review code.
I've been installing so many games from Steam to my new hard drives (now that I actually have storage), but no motivation to play any of them. Depression sucks.
Your first RTS? Oh you cute babby. Mine was Red Alert. Still the best theme song for any RTS ever. I wasn't aware Halo Wars 2 was coming to PC though. I always wanted to try the original, but I haven't owned a console since the PS2. Much excite.
Lol thats closer to my era, although I started out with Warcraft 1 (!)... only really Dune that pre dates it as a 'classic' RTS I think. Also SinCity 2000 and the original Transport Tycoon (all such great games, isometric ftw!).
I do recall RollerCoaster Tycoon and SimCity 2000/3000, but I can't remember if I played them before or after. I remember some of my first games on the Amiga though, like Desert Strike, and then DOOM on Win95.. That game genuinely scared me when I was little.
