No, number one human instinct is survival. It's deeply ingrained on the psychology of every living thing. You're outside, it's raining, first thought that comes to your head is: Get to shelter.
There's a fire, first thought is: Get away from the fire.

No, cars are not good no matter where you buy it.

Tell me which one is more likely to give you a quality product.

    Look at this:

    What's that told me!? Nothing!

    Now let's look at this:

Oh ok, the car is safe. So safe it won a competition, it must be pretty good.

Using sex appeal in your ad shows you've put no effort and have no faith in your product.

But the product isn't the same! THAT'S THE POINT OF ADS! So you know which one is better! This isn't communism!

You are a safe person and u woulde never jump out of a airplane cuz u know u might die.
When u get in a car u want too know u get to point b safe. Nothing wrong about that, that`s just ur personality.
But alot of other people want to live and have sex, be cool ect. they dont want to think about if i get there safe.

Who even gives a **** about how something is marketed? I don't know about anyone else, but I know I like my information unbiased.

I think if you ask most people they'd say they don't want to die. Bringing survival instinct into marketing isn't about targeting thrillseekers or anything like that. It would be literally pointing a gun at their head and saying "buy it or die". This is why it's not in marketing. I think you may have misunderstood the term.
