I have Tryed many av over the years. The standard windows stuff is the best by far. It is your choice what to use. If you are one of them people who visit dodgy virus infested porn sites then maybe aftermarket av will work better! I have not had a virus for over 7 years and MSE and defender have warned me of less than 10 threats in these years. I used to use Nortons before that for 2 years and it was terrible obstructive bloatware.
Ok, I have a much bigger problem now. I think I uninstalled Sophos incorrectly, and now my computer doesn't connect to wifi. It says it does on the bottom right corner, but it doesn't connect to anything. Not PA, not Firefox, not Steam. Nothing. I'm backing up my files, but fear the worst. Any help would be truly phenomenal.
