Yesterday, I was able to play PA, and happily so. Today, though I can login and post to the forums, the same username/password combination is greeted with an invalid password error, denying me the ability to get into the game. I'm not sure what I could have done wrong to generate this problem. OS: Ubuntu Linux, 12.04, fully updated Launching via Steam. GPU: 2x Radeon HD 6870 Updated immediately before I attempted to log in. Not sure what else is needed to resolve this problem.
Launch steam via command line. Then start PA and look and look for something unusual in the logs. Triple recheck password/locale and so on
You also might read logs of PA in ~/.local/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log, but unfortunately Coherent UI logs isn't here.
Something happened to it. Still don't know what. I did a reset, though, and that worked. Now to deal with display issues. Time to look for a new build!
