This reminds me that we really need some better information on how games are set up before we join them.

Or even better, some standard game settings that are appropriate done by uber so we know we get a good setting and not another 15 planet game or something with 3 planets where 2 of them are inside the sun, etc.

Sandbox gaming is good. Sandbox with random people needs some constraints.

Thats because you dont have enough memory. Not because you dont have enough RAM but because 32 bit can only use about max 3.5gb of RAM meaning most of your ram in your system is wasted. Its only logical that it crashes if the game uses ~2gb of ram combine that with stuff running on the background and its full.

The only solution is to instal windows 7 64 bit. Dont buy 32 bit ever again unless you really need to. Except for supporting older hardware (which btw still works most of the time) you only end up worse with 32 bit.

It seems that the memory issue is partly Solar systems being to big and an odd bug where your planets get shitloads of mountains added to them. The highly mountainous planets can eat >6GB of ram with as few as 2 or 3 planets of size 2-4.

I'll answer really late, but probably you still need it.

You get this error because your drivers is really outdated:
    Code:
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

    Driver Date/Size: 7/2/2009 21:54:54, 4059648 bytes
You need to download and install "Latest Beta Driver" from this page:
