I believe I had zYn being out quick as (at the time) I had only played with Grindout and didn't know anyone else on the team.

Zyn would've taken it if they had me, like Phobos wanted.

I don't get what they would've taken... they won every match so far are in the semis.

Deadeye I am buds with you.. but... we asked 5 people before you. We were just trying to find some solid people at certain positions LAST MINUTE and were just trying to think of free agents. We would have also taken it if all of the zYn members could actually play.. but I digress

If we hadn't made some last minute changes to our roster and our strategies, we would have gotten destroyed, so I don't hold it against anyone for picking us to lose our first match ;). We're starting to shape up nicely now, we just have to work a little more on our chemistry, seeing as yesterday was the first time we had all played together. That first map was an eye opener (I can't believe we tried to play without an assassin -_-).

I'm picking Destiny to win the next match against Grand Prize, but either team winning wouldn't surprise me. I've recently played against most of the Destiny guys, and can vouch for them being beastly and well coordinated. I don't know exactly where the GP guys stand because I haven't played against them in forever, but I assume they're really good too. That match is going to be epic. Somebody better record it.

    I'd rather have a t-shirt anyway.

Man, I've got a lot of questions for you my friend. I'm really interested in how the new zYn formed up:

    1) What happened to the original zYn?
    2) What made you pick the players you did as replacements? How did the new team come together?
    3) I'm amazed that yesterday was the first time you guys played together, judging from how well your two gunners were coordinated, as well as how they protected Grindout like guards on a quarterback -_-. How did you prepare the team for the tourney?
    4) As far as I knew, neither of you actual zYn guys played MNC much any more. Do you guys consider yourselves naturally talented, and so you were able to bring the pain when you played, or did you practice in some other fashion?

Somebody get this guy a job as a journalist! I'll try to give you some answers as best as I can.

    1) Skyllus, Wraith, and Arctic are playing Reach, and plan on travelling to MLG events this season. I'm not sure if Calinorth is planning on playing SC2 or Reach with the rest of the team, but I'm pretty sure he plans on going to events too. They were all supposed to play in the tournament, but they ended up not having the time.

    2) Grindout and I have teamed in the past, so I know we work well together. Fojib and Spence have teamed in the past, so they work well together. Fojib suggested Knight as a last minute replacement, and it worked out really well.

    3) We haven't really prepared much for the tourney yet. Hopefully we can get in some scrims sometime before our next match. We went over our basic strats and callouts a few hours before our match and played some pubs. Luckily we all work well together and are very versatile. 3 of us had to change classes between map 1 and map 2.

    4) I dont really know what to say on this one. I guess we have built up a lot of natural FPS skill and teamwork from playing with/against each other the years. We also scrimmed a little for the previous tournament, so we built up a good bit of knowledge and skill before we all quit playing.

Grand Prize to win it with SIGMAR having 3/5 of the players on the team muted.
