FPS Throw down: Scathis VS XShadowStormX

See Nyx, that's psychology: All the rescheduling will throw off the other player and create tension. Tense player make mistakes, especially in FPS. First you have to win the battle of minds before you even think of meeting on the field of honor... :lol:

CJ is right; i often go and kill moral, and initiative, of people in MW2 just to make my team's job easier.

taking down an entire team in Demolition (oh yes, i did) and not planting the bomb just so i could go stir more trouble results in several opposing players getting very distracted and irate.

You know what...I am going to let Scathis post the results. Everybody get their smallest violins ready.

Ok... fighters are not my thing... keep that in mind.

Yes the old horse pulled through in the 8th game with a Guile victory. I think neutrino even has some of it on video...but that might be a case of what happens in Uber stays in Uber. At least the results are posted on the forums

intended purpose? i don't see how. Demo games are team games (like i expect MNC will be). i don't play the role of dedicated planter very often; i'm much more akin to the role of annoying bastard, preventing the opposition from being effective, and letting my team-mates do their jobs with less hassle.

Specifically the example of having the bomb and not planting it. You essentially damage our team for no good reason, the enemies will just laugh and ask wtf you're doing, meanwhile i'd be more than a little irritated and probably distracted by the *** bunnyhopping on the point repeatedly while steadfastly refusing to do anything there.

i would like to remind you that i was referring to Demolition games of MW2. how many bombs does the attacking team have? oh yes, one for every player. all it takes is one bomb to be planted per bomb-site.

me not planting my bomb does not prevent team-mates planting any of theirs.

my actions of going ahead and continuously gunning for the opposition leaves the bomb-site clear for planting.


in future, i suggest you only comment about games you have played. you clearly have shown that you haven't played Demolition before.

So after our Street Fighter face off, even though Scathis wasn't the overall winner, I am going to declare him the standup-guy winner. This is because I brought my hard-drive in for the face off and forgot it at the office when I left. Scathis still hard at work after I left, went out of his way to drop it off to me at home.
