Modified lava planet type; added water, replaced the water shader with the Sun shader and made the atmosphere yellow to match:

Looks like it's about to explode. Neat.

And... then someone builds boats and the illusion is destroyed!

Here's a planet with radius of -8. About as low as I can go before it becomes some pathetically small pyramid.

That's awesome. Tried with a negative height range, causes weird stuff to happen to the water.

Looks like some bad algae bloom!

Messing around with some metal world brushes:

Lol at the metal brush biome brushes there.

Slap a bit of grey on there and you've got yourself a fairly convincing asteroid =D

Slap a bit of black and white there and we have ourself a football

On a side note; i wonder if we are still going to get ice asteroids.

Aren't most asteroids ice anyway?

Most asteroids are rock, some gravel, some have a high metal content.

It's comets that are made of ice.

It is at least, not beyond the realms of possibility to have ice on an asteroid... as long as it's buried.
