Can you give us some rough guidelines to what number from 0-100 this correlates to on the planet generator?

Or preferably, some rough overview how the planet gen algorithm interprets those input numbers?

You can check PA logs in "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log\" and you will see exact radius of planet you generated. E.g I generate planet with editor radius 20:
    Small comparison table:
    • Editor radius 0 - Planet radius 200
      Editor radius 1 - Planet radius 220
      2 - 240
      3 - 260
      10 - 400
      25 - 700
      39 - 980
That mean that basic (and minimal) radius is 200 and each time you make +1 to editor radius real radius get +20.

PS: As long as we know Uber use meters, so when you generate 0-planet it's got 200 meters radius.

100 = 3000 meters. 0 =.. well, presumably 0 meters ( I don't think it works?).. So it'll be restricted to about a setting of 50 for importing into game. And it looks like we will validate that server side. So you'll still be able to make planets without modding, but you won't be able to play on a planet except with the constraints we know are currently ok.

Seems like somebody misinform you. :)
    Currently 0 = 200 meters and 100 = 2200 meters, a least least in 50742 build.

Ah, ok.. I hadn't looked at the numbers. Wasn't sure what we set our max at. Good to know.

Interesting that Uber uses meters instead of what is commonly used in the usa.
(I prefer SI units, so I am totally happy with meters)

meters are so much more convenient to model and program with.

that is because imperial units just dont make sense at all. They made sense back in a time, where you had to use parts of your body to measure, as there was no easier way to do it. But today, you can rely on SI units, where everything fits together like it should.

This. Metric is base 10 all the way up or down (prefixes ftw), imperial is like 12 of this equals 1 of that, and 5 of that is something else. Or whateves.

I wonder where the save files are for the planet editor
.local/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/localstore contains what appears to be the sql files database for the game and those files slowly grow when you save more planets but I cannot seem to find out where the planet editor save files are.
Unless there in those tiny sql files but those files pretty damn small: 7K

I opened the files with sqlitebrowser, they are sql3 files and it just shows the parameters with which the planets were created with; biome, seed, radius ect.
maybe thats the only variables the planet editor stores at this point
