    Can it handle spawning in the middle of a crater?
    I've discovered a fantastic game to play with the AI during bugged start spots - equilibrium. You get 10 fabbers to assist it (which will repair it), and 10 fabbers to reclaim it. If it kills all the assisters before the reclaimers you kill it dishonorably (you reclaim it). If it kills the reclaimers before the assisters you kill it honorably in a commander dual.

    I call this game mode "equilibrium".

    But is it floating? Push it harder. MOAR! With that economy it should have that nuke launcher surrounded by fabbers. Actually, looking at that screenshot, and with no more context, it needs more fabbers :)

    I don't see the commander though, so maybe that base wraps around the planet :)

    Seriously though, looks awesome.

    I have a question, Sorian:

    Do you watch replays of player matches to try to get an idea of what you can do to make the AI better? Or, if you are still working on lower-level stuff than that, is this something you plan to do?

    Based on SUPCOM2 I don't think I need to say this, but based on every other RTS ever I'm going to anyway: per AI difficulty settings, please. Don't make them global.

    I had the priority of building metal spot defenses too high, so they weren't building nukes or anti-nukes much. Or TMLs for that matter. It has since been fixed.

    You know Sorian, this just got at the point where human beings are starting to be afraid of this non-cheating AI you're developing.

    And THAT is something awesome you just did there.

    It's about time we get difficulty settings and handicaps, hopefully we can see these in the next build along the other neat changes.

    I played today with an AI...it told me most human player's were noobs - they only played against him with cheats, but the AI still kicked those cheaters *** xD

    Nethermind just a random joke - Sorian you have done great work so far! Looking forward for navy and additional improvements ;)

    btw: I have a question - I bet you are going to add also an adaptive AI. Now I would like to know if it's more like SupCom adaptive AI where it choosed best suited personality for the map, or have you maybe plans on adding a real adaptive AI which react to enemy AI's/players actions and strategies?

    Hopefully the latter.

    It just rushed me with spinners. I was disappointed to say the least.

    Then the Ants turned up. And I was even more disappointed, because I'd scrambled to build turrets on that side of my base.

    That was the deal the whole game. The AI always sent spinners where it intended to attack, followed by Ants.

    Looking forward to its escort/micromanagement behaviors lol.

    That's the one.
    Can we make that a survival game mode? The AI/One player can only build factories, and the factories can only build fabbers. They start off on an asteroid with a unit cannon. You have an established base, but can't build orbital. You just have to protect your commander from the waves of fabbers until the timer runs dry.
