Well, that flip would allow you to get to the other side, if the engine's gravity could make that work, which I don't think it can unfortunately.

Perhaps you should try that again. A Möbius strip only has one side.

If you start on the outside of that ring in the picture and traveled along it, you would eventually reach the inside. A mobius has one distinct side.

This is my photoshop. Theoretically possible to do now, if you hit a planet with 5 or so well placed asteroids. Technically, you would have a flat map.

I don't think it really would be hard to manually or set an automatic feature to make flat maps in this game. They would just be some funny form of cut up sphere.

you know that's really silly when you take into account that all the planets right now aren't spheres but really cubes with each surface made very convex. soooo... an interesting take, but rather roundabout.

Ladies and gentlemen, newbs and newbettes, this user is doing it right! I get that the game is in beta (also sorry for jacking the thread slightly off topic) but there are a lot of people that are at least semi serious about this game, and when there's a guy playing his first game in your 2v2v2v2v2 someone is not going to have a fun time being their partner.

I love the fact that people are getting interested in PA, and when I know someone is new I do my very best to guide them through the learning curve with my knowledge, but sometimes there's a guy in the 5v5 that decides to take your planet you've just spent 30 minutes getting to and building halley's on, and smashes it into a planet worthlessly "because I wanted to see a huge explosion".

If all newcomers were as considerate as this person the comunity would benefit greatly, for your work I commend you.

If true, then same concept, only done differently. Probably more reliable too. Just don't generate the other faces of the cube. It is just to show its possible.

Now i want to play on a cube planet.
