Ah. Well I'm getting melee kills decently frequently on randoms as it is, so I'm indifferent to the protag thing. If anything we'll be better at it when the DLC drops.

I'd love to do this but I am extremely out-numbered. While I did make the UberEntFriends gamertag I still don't have any "regular" people I play with.

Interesting idea, but I think you ought to make it based on right click not grapple. For $150 the sniper has the best grapple in the game since rear sword kills are apparently not allowed.

This means you would have to get someone very low, and then click them.... which is quite dangerous as it does next to no damage.

Otherwise you'll get a scenario where someone will play normally until someone's name from the list is in the game. Since Joebo27 is in here I'll buy my level 3 gunner grapple and get him when he's not looking.

I'm pretty sure that's the idea behind this. We're going for right stick kills, not kills like grapples or sword kills.

"4. Your goal is to get a melee killing blow on a person and eliminate them from the list. (sword/dagger kills do not count)" I will assume that meant any kind of grapple kill.

you could have clarified and said grapples do not count. From your original phrasing it looks like: no assassin grapple kills but other grapples are allowed.

Sword/Dagger refer to the Assassin's normal attacks, as per the protag/career requirements. The reason I stated these don't count is because they ARE melee weapons, but are not mapped to the melee function in the game.

Grapples function completely differently, and I've never been aware of anyone calling the grapple a melee attack, so I did not foresee any confusion. Sorry about that.

Plus, a grapple competition would be incredibly lame, unless it was restricted to gunner only.
