Poly. You're not one for personal opinions? I think the game is a solid 8 out of 10. From a personal viewpoint the game would be tons more enjoyable for me if pugs didn't make me want to pull my hair out.

The only thing I have to say is that 8/10 is supposed to be good. I know 10/10 is supposed to be perfect but 8/10 is perfectly fine.

As a journalist interested in games media, I find it funny that 7 or 8 out of 10 is like a D- in grade school for some people. This is not true all the time but people flipped out when Halo Reach got something lower then a 10 and we're talking about MNC here, a new IP.

This is my point, rather or not something is GOOD is actually a subject that cannot be proven by fact.

Arguing that an opinion on what is good or bad is be wrong is what is wrong.

Pretty much all opinions are actually conjecture - and are based on partial fact.
If this partial fact is wrong, the "opinion" can be wrong.

In common conversation, when not differentiating between opinion and conjecture, opinions can easily be wrong.

An example of an opinion that cannot be wrong is say, a preference. Someone stating a personal feeling. "I prefer the taste of chocolate to strawberry" for example is an opinion that cannot be wrong, because it is due to someone's preference.

Something like "I believe that the Assassin is the best class in the game" however can be wrong, because there are actually statistics and facets that can prove or disprove this.

If you want another food based example of an opinion that can be wrong, it would be "Chocolate tastes better than Strawberry" - it is theoretically possible to gather data on taste, brain chemistry, and hormones that could prove this theorem correct or incorrect.

Though that wouldn't stop someone from saying that they prefer one or the other, it could be established as fact that one is "tastier" than the other.
