assassin is my least kill-whoring class..

I'll be like, "go away, i'm trying to kill your turrets, not you"

    Yes! Hah.

Or taking out snipers...that sit back untouched. Ignored. And go 20-0.

Fortunately most of the assassins that come after me when I'm being that sniper are terrible and just feed me another kill. ;)

Why the **** do we care so much about this guy's skewed view of the game?

"Everyone else is worse than me so this game sucks"

    "Too" good for pubs
    Not good enough for competitive.

    wat do?

Well, maybe not too good... I've learnt the ropes of some classes, know their strengths and, most importantly, roles... But I noticed a few things. Whenever I forfeit a class (mostly support) for another player who picked it first I get the feeling that these people never do their job right. I've spent matches with two supports in my team (I was already agitated after forfeiting support for the first one and THEN seeing a second one picking it) with NO single base turret hacked EVER... Tell me, why do I keep forfeiting support? for this? <.<

Wait for pro pub servers? TF2 had a few of those.

Probably, but isn't "pro pub" just hollow semantics? Like "beginner server"?
You find experienced players on those all the time :I

In Demigod we hosted 'good/experienced players pls' matches all the time. It's surprising how many good/experienced players had no clue how the skills of their Demigod actually worked... xD

What's skewed about it? This is a game where teamwork, strategy and communication are key. If those things aren't going on and people are just out killwhoring and accomplishing ****, then it can ruin the fun for people that really want good, competitive games. I haven't played a game where the actions of others can really ruin a game so easily before.

Objective based games aren't new. They've been around forever. If a bunch of tards in a game of CoD can achieve goals as a team, why can't the players of MNC? Bad Company? Huge sprawling maps, many objectives and class specific skills. They work together. MNC? I just don't see it.

    Yet.

It's extremely frustrating to watch assassins move through a ton of bots on their way to kill that support that's sitting in front of his hacked firebase just waiting on someone to feel froggy. It's extremely frustrating to see that sniper go for the pro kill across the map when there's a jackbot pummeling the turrets in his base 5 ft away.

I'm not quite what your problem with me is. Nor am not quite sure what part of my attitude irks you. I want the MNC community to play smarter. I want the killwhores to go back to Halo:Reach. Don't make me load up TF2. MNC is infinitely better in my eyes.

All the games you mentioned may have objectives, but only one other mechanic outside of that, which is killing people.

The bot mechanic of MNC seems to be the point that most of the derps are completely confused by.

Your argument is that since everyone else is worse than you, it makes the game not as good.

I purposely try to derail stupid threads, I admit it.

That is your argument by the way.

You're a troll. Cut it any way you want. In no way did I say that everyone else was worse than me. I'm pointing out obvious flaws in team dynamics as it currently stands on the PC in a majority of games.

    Seriously. Go away. You're boring.

You're arguing that because the players don't understand how to play the game optimally it makes the game ITSELF worse.

From a personal standpoint. Yes. Why is that such a hard notion to grasp?

Because you're taking an uncontrollable variable and based on that the game loses some points in your opinion.

    WTF is going on here?
Poly, stop trolling, it doesn't suit you. Also don't report yourself for trolling, it irritates me.
Metal, if you are not happy with the way new players don't get the game mechanics, tell them. Get a headset and set up a training program. ;)

To be fair, he kinda has a point there.. this game more than many others is about teamwork, and that makes for bad pug experiences a lot.
