Anyone here have a last.fm account? If you do, my account is http://www.last.fm/user/SengokuNoMaou. I'd love to hear no music so send a friend request if you do.
Would you happen to have any suggestions?
Bonobo is the only artist I can listen to while doing anything. Kiara for the moments when I need to be amped, Black Sands for when I need something nice and relaxing, and the list goes on and on. When it comes to MF DOOM, my favorite version is Madvillain. To be fair, Madlib is one of my favourite producers.
Lucky you. Even though I live in the South, I've yet to see them. The only time I might have been able to I was out of town.
Do you mean music in the Romance languages or music related to love?

Lately I have been on a big Stoner Doom/Sludge doom buzz.

    Kylesa - Spiral Shadow
    Title track - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJdrpifkht0

    Zoroaster - Matador
    Odyssey - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1sGbQJhoug

Turbid North - Orogeny (Some sick cover art!)
    The Hunter - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-VviZU5ZW4

Rosetta - A Determinism Of Morality
Je N'en Connais Pas La Fin - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkNEhiinE0M

At Our Heels - Misanthropy and Godlessness
    Through Their Teeth - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poL2cK2fKWs

Those are the albums I have been listening to for the past few weeks/months. I am really digging this Doom/Sludge genre and movement.

Creepy stuff. I've been on a crazy search for creepy music lately so...

    (click link in signature)
Cradle of Filth: Dinner at Deviant's Palace(this link provides the original and reversed version back-to-back for easy comparison)
    Front Line Assembly: Mortal
    Tool: Disgustipated
Tool, again: Die Eier Von Satan(the creepiness is reduced by the video showing you EXACTLY what the song is about: kinda funny actually)
    Tsuneo Imahori: Perfect Night
    Tsuneo Imahori: Blue Summers

Try listening to all of this stuff late at night with the lights off

    Amazing album, truly.

I'm sure you've tried stuff like DJ Shadow's "entroducing" and pre-emptive strike"? both are mellower than normal hip hop, all instrumental, all genius production. Something like Bonobo for beat-heads. Alsoo check out Wax Tailor - they make instro trip-hop but play it live and use tons of samples. The first one (Not hope and something, the other one) is so, so effin good you'll listen to it at the same times that Bonobo would serve you right. Oh and check out Deltron 3030 - Automator produced, Del on lyrics and Kid Koala on turntables, it's like the olympics of hip hop!

Any hip hoppers heard the "unlimited ep" by soul position? some of the best ish ever. Amazing musical and lyrically a masterpiece.
Can't forget the Roots "Do you want more" and Del the funkee homosapien's "No need for alarm" I think I've broken tape decks over-playing those 2 albums.
