I should have enough data to announce what we are doing next week. It's going to be interesting to see the reaction, to say the least.

This just in: the scripting language is CobolScript, and models will be created in SketchUp. Audio uses the system speaker (for compatibility), and music is exclusively bagpipes.

I've been playing with angelscript lately and I definitely prefer an OOP scripting language over a procedural one from the scripters point of view. It's the only one I've used with C++ so I don't know how it compares performance wise.

    Looking forward to the announcement.

I'd play that. No really, I do hope someone makes a bagpipe mod. Hell all the bots can be made out of bagpipes, and the music changes depending on the number of bots on the screen. They don't even have to be bagpipes, each unit type can be a different instrument, and they can play as they fight. A well rounded army is both effective in combat and provides the best music.

Also, +dubstep would sound REALLY interesting to listen to, if bagpipes were involved . . .
