So just use your invisibility and have a shield guy with you for when invisibility is recharging, that's what most people do

Either way the entire game becomes "kill the medic ignore everyone else" and that's kind of lame

I played this game during the Big Alpha and I really enjoyed it, so just before it was released I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe edition.
Since then I've been enjoying every hour with the game, I managed to unlock all the Hunters so far - although I can't say the same for the Monsters. I don't really enjoy playing the Monster as much as the Hunters.

From my experience, stuff like the Wraith and Lazarus aren't really OP, just annoying to deal with. Wraith is incredibly squishy and if the Hunters play defensively then they should be able to deal with it. Hank is an obvious pick for his ability to shield Hunters, but Cabot also works will if you can get his damage amp up on the hits that matter. Markov's mines are absolutely devastating to the Wraith, especially when combined with the damage amp. Stasis traps, Harpoon mines... things that general control the Wraith's movements are useful for escaping its area of effectiveness. Also saving jet pack fuel can mean the difference between life or death.

I've seen Wraiths get completely shut down despite having relatively strong early games simply because the Hunters play defensive, standing on mines and keeping an eye out for the Wraith while also keeping the generator within sight (obviously so it doesn't sneak off to try and kill it)

Heck, I've played a game myself where I joined halfway through to a team of Hunters who weren't doing too well, but because we held our ground defensively, we forced a Wraith who was used to facerolling over Hunters in to playing a very uncomfortable "I'll try and pick them off from afar" position - which did not work at all.

Lazarus is just an annoying guy to deal with. He can lead inexperienced or unaware Monsters in to a sense of false safety if they haven't dealt with them. Sometimes it's better to not bother dealing with him and focus on taking down the Trapper to run away in order to fight again another day; preferably on your terms instead of theirs.
