    I think the devs have been rather forthcoming with information and answering questions. However, testing takes an incredible amount of time and patience and if they gave out percentages (but something tells me it's not that cut and dry) it wouldn't be the absolute number porn those of us who obsessed over Den Kirson's forum demand but it'd be a solid basis for deciding endorsements without pulling out a calculator. I only ask that if they see something completely wrong they call it out.

    I only did about 10 clips split-screen testing but from what I can tell the reticle for the shotgun is purely cosmetic and does not decrease spread at all with accuracy enhancements. Or range.

    Also it seems the sniper rifle gets a massive damage bonus if scoped in when hitting a player? Unscoped and in the exact same area of the body firing at an unarmored sniper I'd do only enough damage to make their lifebar yellow but when scoped in it took them to near death every time.

    Oh, so Skill Refresh endorsements do affect grapples, or does it affect the assassin's grapples and assassinations exclusively? Because a roughly 10 second wait for grapples compared to 15 can be a godsend.

    Also, I know it's right there in plain English for RoF for assassins, but in terms of seconds, gold RoF and silver RoF for her melee weapon are relatively the same? I do know you've acknowledged that testing the sword was rather difficult.

    I believe what it is this this. When scoped, dmg effects are applied. Check the dmg difference between lvl 1 shots scoped and unscoped. See if they are the same. Then check for scoped and unscoped lvl 2 and 3 sniper.

    You could be right. I always thought that unscoped shots lose out on the upgraded piercing and explosion affect, thus lowering the dmg.


    Skill refresh does affect grapples. For the AZAZN, it only affects the level 3 assassination (katana). You won't see skill recovery decrease while grappling with a dagger.

    I imagine the katana RoF rates are more or less the same. For my eyes, it's tricky to count. I'm probably better off recording it and playing it back in slow-mo.

    Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Tank data! Delicious numbers for the tank!

    Now I can finally agonize over whether I think 1.5 seconds is much different from 1.7 seconds between reload endorsements!

    Nice work. I just wanted to add that a lot of skills have a faster recovery as you level them up (without endorsements).

    For example for the Tank:

    Grenade lvl1: 15sec, lvl2: 12sec, lvl3 10sec
    Charge lvl1: 15sec, lvl2: 9sec, lvl3: 7sec

    These numbers may need to be retested because I am rounding some of them to the nearest second (from a stopwatch). Again these numbers are WITHOUT endorsements.

    By comparison here are those same skills with Gold Skill Recovery (rounded to nearest second):

    Grenade lvl1: 10sec, lvl2: 8sec, lvl3 7sec
    Charge lvl1: 10sec, lvl2: 6sec, lvl3: 5sec

    *Currently retesting a few values and gathering data for the remaining endorsements.

    It's my guess that outside form Accuracy, the rest of the endorsements are static. We can assume that armor just "adds life" though will much more subjective since we don't have a unit of damage value to test. I'm sure players would rather know what armors let you survive what.

    For right now, I'm taking a break =)

    It's nice to have some hard data for each class. This has GREATLY cut down on the time I was going to spend testing customs. Thanks for the numbers!

    You have a strange definition of fun. But to answer your question, no. It's much better to go to the wiki page and plan the best possible setup with 100% accurate data rather than play 50 matches per class to try and reverse engineer everything.

    Based on the "damage taken" protags, my guess is that the Assassin is 1000 HP. Otherwise the 3500 damage taken would be 17.5 healthbars worth of damage for a tank (which is a truly excessive amount.)
