@brianpurkiss - so's positive to negative electrical current. And wind direction referring to blowing from, not blowing to.

I'm just saying. Badly worded polls because of an option that places a certain bias in the wording of the answer. The overall polling quality of the forum is increasing. :p

For record, I vote for poll lock, but I will mod it so that south is up. Somehow.

Personally I think it would be beautiful. Anyway, I feel I've bumped the thread too far off course :(

I always lock poles, keeps me oriented. But it doesn't work very wel on very small planets or around the poles.

    Free camera
    Pros:
    Better camera movement, very smooth.
    Cons:
    Everything gets turned around.

    Pool lock
    Pros:
    Better orientation
    Cons:
    Sucky camera movement.

I've also noticed that when zoom-out very far camera movement get very fast and it's hard to move a short bit to select orbital units. So basicly orbital movement to fast. Maybe this can be changed by dedicated orbital layer/view or when the new orbital system is in.

On an other note, is the max view distance standard or based on the planet size?
