Guys, please stop suggesting ways to change the game that are based around pub-stomping. It's just silly.

The forum police has spoken! All you kids, out of the pool! Only 1EEt players may post in here! We will need to see your identicard with the appropriate 99 rank and 13840348:1 k/d ratio before you may post again!

So I was thinking that something that might be fun is, don't change the current game mode, just offer another one that extends it. For example, once one team drops and does sufficient damage to the moneyball to destroy it, it goes back up, gains mad shields, and their own moneyball goes down, and all turret nubs are reset. Then that team would need to fall back and defend their own moneyball. If the opposing team destroys their moneyball, it resets again, or, if they defend it successfully then after x amount of time the other moneyball loses its shields again and can be dropped (maybe just a minute or two. The team with the most moneyball victories wins.

I think to only way to effectively and naturally lengthen Crossfire matches is to make the Moneyball's shields stronger. Double the amount of bots it takes to drop it.

Another way could be after doing about (insert money amount) damage the shields would go back on and the ball up. The moneyball would still naturally go up after not taking damage and the rest of (insert money amount) goes to each player on the team. So you are rewarded for pushing them back before doing (insert money amount) damage. So say it was $1000 worth of damage, if they only did $300 damage before the moneyball naturally went back up the defending team would gain $700 each.

Adding various hazards and defenses will change the current state of Crossfire too much.

Besides it only takes about 10 seconds of not taking damage for the moneyball to go back up.

Best way to lengthen matches: improve matchmaking, forcibly break up parties of higher level players and distribute them evenly between the two teams. That's all you really need.
