Could you make a seaborne verson as well? It's somthing that I felt was missed from supcom was appropriate anti-ship defences on the sea, torpedos are great when in close but when most ships are equiped with artillery cannons they kinda felt a little lack luster.
I don't think Triangular barrels would work any better than square ones, but considering what we've seen so far for PA units the Square Barrels fit right in, it's just more that it's hard to fit squares into a circular pattern. I'm of the opinion that it'd be better to have specific Seaborne defenses, also the Torps from SupCom worked mostly fine, the problem reared it's ugly head when you got pushed out of the water it was almost impossible to re-establish your self due to subs patrolling your shoreline, thus I created the Hedgehog. Mike
If triangular wont work, go for hexagonal or pentagonal. Dont have to make it round, but a tiny bit of rounding wont mess up the box aesthetic.
That works for bigger items, see my Battleship, but on a smaller unit/structure like this one it doesn't come across visually very well, especially when you have the 3 barrels in close proximity. Mike
The only trick he does is secretly plotting WORLD DOMINATION! :3 Looks like good starting point Mike! Hmm, maybe the head could be a tad bigger?
Possibly, I'm not really sure on the final head yet, might go for a Geth-ish, mono eye type thing to better fit into PA's Aesthetics, but for not gonna focus on the Body and Legs. Progress; Mike
What do you mean by 'believer'? I have a cat. I know she's plotting world domination. If she ever figures out how to work a can opener we are all doomed! :x Looks great! I like how you connected upper and lower body. Sensor suit looks good. Now I'm wondering what kind of weapon a scout would carry. Could be a mortar or a light laser.
Whups kinda forgot about this; here we go! Finished off the body sections, tail and Radome Mounting, next is legs! Mike
They'd obviously carry a lathe. It has all the lethality of a light laser, and scouts are the first units to discover wreckage. No point letting it sit around!
No particular Zoid was used as a basis, but seeing as it's essentially a robot animal, which is pretty much all Zoids are, comparisons are inevitable. ;p Anyways, finished it off for now; Mike
