    NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! jk
I see your point. It would be nice if this were to happen, though. I honestly think assassins are freaking awesome as they are and don't need a buff. Though I would argue that this change wouldn't really affect communication too much, because you can just turn around and see if the assassin was on your team or not.

and here i thought i was just schitzoid all on my own. so we all agree its common to freak out and mash our buttons until our tank performs a street fighter hadouken whenever we hear that cloak hum.

then +1, maybe its a good idea to create seperate sounds for each teams assassins (the probable easy fix), or silence teammates cloak hum (perhaps harder/impossible to patch on this games engine)

I like your point, but unlike CoD and barring hardcore mode, MNC doesn't have a map that tracks allies. Point is, I will always know an AZAZN is coming, but at least I can differentiate.

i agree that everyone will always attack if they hear an assassin is coming. thus, they will kill any enemy assassins with this patch or not, and they will attempt to kill teammates (which has no advantage to enemy assassins) without this patch.

tbh if you find some kind of comfort when you sleep at night knowing that assassin hum freaks people out, ill agree to keep it the way it is.

but its not a benefit other than psychologically. anyone hears an assassin, they spin around and do a charge followed by a death blossom, or a slam, or throw grenades, or spray and pray. if this was added to the game, i would still kill any assassins that i notice through the cloak sound. i would just do it without flinging as much hot death and military ordinance at my teammates.

i understand "turtle beaches" exist. they are sunny vacation spots :p jkjk. i dont have one or anything (i want one for guitar hero lmao). which brings me to this final point. if assassin's cloak hum can be heard from over 1.5 seconds sprinting distance away (im not sure if it is or not), then what should be patched is the hum being heard from across the arena.

i think thats unfair about turtle beaches and mw2. they should also make footsteps not play in game audio at all past three meters, even if they play as loud from that range.

PASD (Post-Assassin Stress Disorder)? It's more common than you think.
