Some Co-Op videos would be nice. And for class I want to see some more about the Gunner.

    Another Great Video!

I would like to see either Assault or the Sniper in the next video.

    This is how taunting works:
    - You can taunt any where at any time.
    - Taunting is done by holding the D-Pad Right and pressing A.
    - You get $5 for a regular taunt (and a cheer from the crowd)
    - Taunts only count every 10 seconds, taunts done more frequently give you nothing.
    - Finishing a taunt after a kill gives you a money bonus
    - Finishing a taunt while juiced gives you a big money bonus
    - You can not move, use skills or look around while taunting
    - You can be killed, grappled and have anything done to you normally while taunting.

So yes, you can sit in your spawn area and taunt every 10 seconds and gain $5 and be the lowest money earner on your team. Doing other things that give you money are way more lucrative than just sitting around taunting.

The big trade off to taunting is that if you taunt after a kill you are completely vulnerable for 3-5 seconds while you do the taunt. It's pretty high risk / high reward.

We decided to use D-Pad Right and A because the D-Pad works best when you use two directions only, so up is upgrade skills, down is build/use things in the world. We had it as D-Pad Right only but we found ourselves taunting when we didn't intend to, so we added in the A button to make it so you only taunt when you intend to.

Assassin and you'll have the trifecta of dev walkthroughs. Tank, Support and Assassin would be a perfect balance!

Very smart move! I find myself equipping the wrong gun too frequently in games with the weapons mapped to the D-Pad because it isn't as reliable as a set of seperate buttons.

And thanks for the in-depth explanation of the Taunt system!

Question: Did I redeem myself from my poor Tank performance?

Yes I felt I got a much better grasp of the support class and its potential when viewing the second video. May I suggest something? You guys may want to spruce up your enthusiasm a bit, at times you sound a bit too monotone.

Yeah, the problem is he did too well as the support class so now everyone will want to play as one. Seriously though, I always played an Engineer primary and Medic secondary in TF2 so this class is the best of both worlds. The only negative I see for the Support class is that is relies heavily upon turrets so it is a very money-centric class.

Well I think most people are wanting 2 play as the assassin and I agree the support is the best of both worlds :D

Yeah me too i love the Medic and Engineer in TF2 so the support class is perfect for me. I just dont want EVERYONE using the Support guy, HE'S MINE!

Curious, but what happens when a second Support player hacks the same turret? Does the one with the higher skill take priority or is it first-come, first-serve? Also, can a Support player hack another Support player's Firebase?

I think only one person can hack a turret at a time but I do wonder if you can hack an enemy firebase

Just watched the vid. Pure awesomeness!! Air Strike is my current favorite skill (even ahead of the Gunner's pancaking Slam). One quick question tho: After a Support hacks a turret, does the original builder of the turret still get money for the kills along with the Support?
These and do both Supports get credit for kills if both have hacked the same turret, provided they can both hack it?

If a second support hacks a turret it probably refreshes the time it's hacked for and gives any kills to the support that hacked it most recently.

Most likely but who knows after one support hacks a turret another might not be able 2 hack it untill the first support's hack runs out

What I hope is that the player with the higher Hack skill takes priority; in the case of two support players with the same hack level the first player to hack retains control. This would be the ideal situation to prevent a player from sitting in the base using a Firebase and hacking. Let's see what the guys from uber say though.
