Please make a mod that adds lots of smoke and particles to wreckages.
The titan wreckage already has that, but you might want to get a better toaster if someone places smoke effects on ALL wreckage. Imagine the FPS drop.
I remember max managed to put so many particle effects on a planet you could not see the ground anymore and his computer is still alive.
And I am looking for an actual reason to get a better toaster anyway.
I would do it if I wasn't 300 miles away from my main toaster.
I feel you bro. My main tiaster has said goodbye to me, more concrete the hard drive and I am more than 600km from him ti even think of repairing it.. You guys that enjoy the goddies of titans :s
Side note: do we know what FX mods are confirmed working with PA:T?
They all should
though since many of them work by shadowing unit specs I would suggest they need updates to not create weird sideeffects.

Effects file can get pretty dirty to be honest. Uber did a really good job handling that through the server (probably with some good reason too).
If it crashes the game then it won't work. Other then that you can see sideeffects like range not being shown right I think.

Rescaled titan wreckage smoke effect. Still could use some extra work I think.

Awesome A little big and/or dark in my opinion. Can it be rescaled with effect_scale? Would be cool to have a different size for different units (or the bases they inherit from).
How does the timing work until it is removed? Can you give it a random component, so on some wrecks it takes waaaay longer than on others? Basically some wrecks that stay "on fire".
There is a uniform random lifetime only. What we would want is something more like a quadratic distribution though.

if I might add to this - some sort of particles for moving land vehicles would be highly appreciated (they seem to be even more "sterile" since the navy finally got some trails) - and I am still waiting for trails on the ground like they always talked about in the early dev videos.
And finally to kill every last surviving framerate - small smokepuffs AND/OR the rolling smoke when tanks fire their weapons - that would hit it !!!
