 I don't yell at people. I'm not intimidating enough for it to be effective

Anyways, he can play however he wants, I was just trying to figure out how to counter.

If a sniper is ice trapping and shooting bot lanes and camping the ejector the best way to nail or annoy him is shruikens, lunge grapple, smoke bomb jump and land near him then kill him. Or juice and shruiken him or Cloak 3 shruiken him.

Stay away from the bots hes shooting

:? No, I mean literally in the bot lane, hanging out with the bots on ground level. Not sniping from a bridge.

Ted is absolutely the hardest sniper for an assassin to deal with. The plus side though, is that he's focused less on the gunner. Communication is key with him. Have your assault bully him hard...when facing Ted, you really don't need your assault doing his other job...harassing the support too much because of Ted's lack of focus on the gunner. As long as your sniper is putting in shots on the gunner, all you need is your assault raising hell with Ted...the fact that he sits in one spot so long makes him a sitting duck for bombs.

If the tank AND assassin are pushing bots in the same lane the whole game, and Ted's sploding round shots in the other lane, you should be ight with assault help. I HATE IT when tanks push bots that I'm trying to push as assassin...it slows my juice gain rate down, which severely limits the assassin's ability to help the team push up map control.

Don't forget to continue pushing both lanes in this scenario. YOU NEED THE JUICE FROM BOTH BOT LANES. The only exception is G3 and sorta Lazer Razer, where the bot lanes are too far away for you to effectively cover both lanes. If an assassin is pushing only one lane, get your tank down there...he can rail gun people from the bot lane so that he can easily switch to jet gun when the bots come up.

How do you deal with tanks and snipers in bot lanes, aside from ignoring them? Is smoke bombing on to the bots and lunging away a good idea or a waste of a smoke bomb?

If you can eject them, you will buy yourself some time, but ejectors aren't easily available and it can be hard to time. If it is a sniper, try to avoid his traps and lunge-grapple him. If it is a tank, yell at your tank to switch lanes with you, or tell your assault or maybe even sniper to help you pester him. And I don't get your second question, smoke bombing onto the bots?

Instead of lunging into the bots and the tank seeing you straight away, drop down on them from around a corner (e.g LazerRazer left lane), slash and then lunge away.

a sniper in the lanes more focused with bots and the tank is the start of a team in self destruct mode. this really only works vs a good bot team with poor slaying and an average or worse assault. a good assault, gunner, sniper front line on top of the map will run over a team that is missing their sniper. its the same idea with the support first jenga effect. once the top is more swiftly dealth with, head to the ground.

what to do as an assassin here? basically the sniper can only push up so far, so kill bots up to the neutral point where the ice traps and tank threat begins and shoot shurikens from there, and if either the sniper or tank moves up too much (in a bot threatening position nearing your base) avoid trouble and call for the assault to sweep over and kill them. the lack of a map control slayer sniper will put the enemy team in a position unable to help the bot lane sniper and tank if they move even two steps too far past the neutral standoff point of the game. also your teams tank as long as they put themselves at a blind spot away from the assassin and continue to keep enemy bots back with the railgun and product and wait for his team to announce a couple dead opponents for his sign for the tank and assassin to now move up. Again heres the problem with the bot lane sniper tactic, should the enemy assault come over to take out your tank from long range hitting bots, and the sniper is more bot lane focused than pro focused, the enemy gunner is now left all alone with his support versus an assault, gunner and sniper. and since the support>gunner are the first two steps to gaining map control, simply push up on them and thank your opponents for handing you map control with a terrible approach

It would be best to shuriken them, but that does seem to be the best course of action. If he doens't yet have charge 3, a face-first assault with a smoke jump will save you, but that rarely happens when he has charge 3.

With the sword, it takes a lunge + 1-2 slashes to wipe out a wave of blackjacks. (Your lunge has to hit all 3 blackjacks). If a sniper is just dropping shots on his own bots, just time a lunge in between explosive shots. Immediately after the lunge, jump away and slash as you jump. If this doesn't kill the bots, lunge back in after the next explosive shot.

You can also use shurikens to weaken the bots enough to take them out in 1 shot. Depending on the positioning of the rest of the opposing team, this is sometimes the better option. It's slower, but safer.
