Deadpool, I have to put up with american hosts and I still do well. So do LMP and DesertFalcon. Stop making excuses and accept the fact that for that one game you didn't do as well as you normally do.

One reason why I want Don Philostrate to come back to MNC and host some matches. It's good for everyone, so if I went tank I could actually use my jetgun! And my Gunner... :twisted:

Where did Don go? From what I played with him, he seemed like pretty cool guy. And his host was actually good. Like really good, even though I'm American.

chron's hosted games where it's been fine, and some have been laggy. Just like me. I've had plenty of people tell me my host is great that live outside of the U.S, and the last time I hosted it was awful, even for me.

I'll do it, I've had people on the Orange Box tell me that my host isn't that horrible. However, in exchange for my host being smooth most of the time, there are occasionally cripplingly bad moments of lag, and my Xbox has the worst damn tendency to crash really easily while hosting. So if you want, I will host. Just don't get angry when the game ends prematurely.

I know this thread has gone astray, but I have two pieces of advice for EVERYBODY that plays assassin, new or old:

1. Lunge more
2. Smoke bomb more

Lunge off of high places. That simple. Won't take you all the way across the map, of course, but it will carry you quite far.

YES. The most important escape tool that the assassin has. If somebody is attacking you and you can't run anywhere for cover, smoke bomb up and try to land at the highest point possible. Then, turn in the direction with the most potential space between you and your adversary, and LUNGE.

Steel Peel: The glass on the middle. Also, you can lunge off of your/your opponents' spawn ring to the backdoor. You can also lunge off of your front bridge right onto your spawn ring.
Lazr Razer: This one doesn't have as many high ground spots, but the high walls/glass near the edges. Most of your escapes on this map come from lunging around corners and just smoke bombing up top/over stuff
Ammo Mule: You can get to almost anywhere on the map by lunging off of the top of the dome. Pretty much the only time you should be up there.
G3: Lunge to the middle or smoke bomb up to any platform and lunge away.
Spunky: Bridges, especially the high walls. You can cover a lot of distance by smoke bombing up there and then lunging off.

Today I was playing a pm with a sniper in one bot lane with ice traps around him and the other bot lane was being pushed by the assassin and tank. Suggestions on how to push back?

Juice. Call for team. Push so hard on the sniper's lane that the tank and assassin have to retreat. A combination of those 3.
