    Having played TA online with the PRO clan for years I can tell you... Air in TA could be *devastating* in the right hands >:D

    If your familiar with the old map 'God of War' (very popular for competitive play), there were some excellent team builds where one team would use shared resources to rush a single t1 bomber (usually Core as they were stronger), and then proceeded to totally dominate one of their opponents with it. Remember that the commander has no AA in TA, so a single bomber can be a real pain.

    Also late game Hawks were so OP it was silly, again though requiring serious micro to make use of (basically you had to spam click to keep them effectively stationary, with their high dps all clumped together they would shoot anything land or air that was near).

    Then you had the shenanigans of 'bombers off the edge of the map' as a real problem- as people would take whole squadrons on bombers off the edge of the map, around your defences and into the back of your based. Something thankfully fixed in PA :D
