Couple of thoughts on conflicting changes

    Here's how I see assault: kill everyone. Because he's better than everyone but sniper at doing so :lol:.

    ^at close range, a support can kill you with 1-2 shots.
    At close range, the gunner WILL destroy you.
    At close range, the tank will also destroy you.
    At long range, the sniper will kill you.
    (if they're all good players)
    And im talking about a head-on Fight.

    It's funny how some assault players tried to kill me just because i was a support...big mistake =D

    Anyway, the assault is more of a middle-to-close range attacker,with support skills to help. My point of view, anyway.

    Every class has some range that creates an advantage for them. The assault is best at mid~close range where the assault rifle is doing max damage but he isn't quite in the range of a charge or shotgun blast. The thing that makes assault amazing is his supporting skills and mobility that allow him to control engagements so he can't lose in a 1 on 1.

    Or just charge away out of the effective range. Good assaults are extremely difficult to kill as a support. You can harass them and make them get away, but they should rarely, if ever* die to supports.

    *barring juice, firebase support and/or well placed air strikes

    very true indeed

    but... why go into enemy's optimal range at first place?

    Well, if you can surprise the enemy, the same is valid to the other side, right?

    You turn a corner and youre face-to-face to a support.
    If he's good, Bang. You're dead.
    If both players are good...well, lady lucky i guess =P
