On a more meaningful note, please edit the original post to show this, so more people can use or know they can use mumble: http://www.dev47apps.com/ That link has a program that lets you use your android phone as a webcam/mic. There should be about half as many people with the excuse they don't have a mic with this app as common knowledge.
Since mtaneggs just asked me this Mumble will be kept up indefinitely. I use it so heavily at this point myself and I don't really consider $11/month more than I can afford
I have to say that ever since everything has been sorted out a long time ago, there's been no crashes or anything.
Connect via direct IP (66.228.33.42) if anyone is having connection issues. I might change the host name if people continue to report being dumped into a different Mumble server. Should resolve it. Connecting via direct IP while not ideal will also resolve this.
@Polynomial does the server have a password or do you know what could be causing this? I got an SSD so I reformatted and now this pops up when I enter the information. Perhaps I just forgot something. Oh I think it's because my username is still attached to my "old" computer. Can you erase the old JBeetle username or something?
