    The Boom is not the same as an uncommandable, unselectable, (usually) untargetable missile.

    Ammo and Unit are not interchangeable; and I'm very-well aware of how the Boom works in vanilla... that's why RCBM changed it so that they leap. It's more amusing that way.

    Yes, I know, that's literally what I said. It'd work for the most part, but you can select it.

    I completely understand that units and ammo are separate entities, and use separate flags, no need to act snippy about something small like this. :p

    It wouldn't work at all; it would make missiles swap targets mid-flight due to how units acquire targets.

    It's not about being "snippy", it's about not spreading false information. There are multiple problems with implementing ammo as units.

    I don't disagree with you whatsoever, but I do think that missiles swapping targets mid-flight would be an awesome addition if, for example, the original target was destroyed. Whether this is possible or not in the game's current state, or even future state if it were even possible to mod this kind of behavior I don't know. Nonetheless, I think it would be pretty cool.

    Yea, but a "unit" missile would swap target based on current distance to target, not if the original had died or not. :p

    I agree that a hook somewhere that allowed a boolean true or false for missiles to acquire new targets, perhaps even under specific circumstances, would be a good addition... but making missiles "units" is not the answer.
