Class Match Ups/Counters

    Say you are on Grenade 3. You can hear them from either lift if you stand in the middle of one of the bridges. It also makes even more sound when you lunge, go up lifts, etc.

    Do you think that the sound should be reduced/removed to make the assassin more useful?

    Actually I wouldn't mind if Sound aspect was lowered but it was made easier to see them (by that I mean distance where Assassins become more visible is slightly increased) so that you have to actually be paying attention to spot them rather than relying on sound that can be a after-thought and still save you.

    I wonder if the cloak sound is one of the things that can be dialed in the MNC Live Update system?

    Anyways, this talk of the assassin's uselessness is all for tournament setting. Barely anybody uses headsets in pubs. Was the original purpose of this thread even defined to be specifically tournament level?

    If Uber gave me this class to be played, then by God, I'll play it.

    I stopped reading after sauce said support has an advantage over gunner. Garbage. Even from a moderate range (because really support is a close range classunless your dumb enough to follow me back towards my firebase) a gunner massacres support in a matter of seconds. Gunners are a spray and pray class relyng on HUGE firepower. Might want to play another class if you're getting your *** handed to you by support.

    You are easy to airstrike though.

    I have played with the Tank at least 90% of the time, so I'll let you guys know my opinion about the matchups. I play the tank quite a bit differently from other people since I use the rail gun as much as the jet gun. I have armor as my gold perk. The general theme with the tank's weakness is mid-range.

    Tank vs Assault
    Playing an assault, you want to be outside his rifle range. He will wreck you mid-range or if he charges you back. The bombs really do a toll on tanks. If you manage to get close, charge the tank and then jet gun him. Otherwise, rail gun him away.
    Advantage: Even

    Tank vs Support
    I use a similar strategy here as with the assault. The difference is the hurt gun is much less a threat mid range then the assault rifle. The shotgun is not a problem since you can charge the support. However, the support has the annoying airstrikes and firebases.
    Advantage: Even

    Tank vs Gunner
    This is the class I have huge trouble dealing with. I usually rail gun and come up from behind. The chain gun wrecks the tank.
    Advantage: Gunner

    Tank vs Assassin
    Easy as pie since you here the cloak of the assassin and the assassination of the back does not kill a fully upgraded tank with armor and health. I jet gun then charge or spin for kill.
    Advantage: Tank by a mile

    Tanks vs Sniper
    I try to rail gun myself forward and two rail gun shots usually kills a sniper, but the headshots can happen on the other end. Mid-range, the sniper has trap advantage. Close range, tank is clearly better.
    Advantage:Even
