I dislike MOBA and I usually look for MP first, so from my point of view Wildman is utterly boring. BUT I actually dont know of any MOBA-type SP game, so there might be a bunch of SP-loving people who would like to play something like this. Or not if we take the ks into account.

The key point is not the amount of information, but what that info tells us, Double Fine's KS didn't have a large amount of info, but what they did have gave us a complete view of their goals. Wildman's info doesn't do that yet.

I don't think that it will fail.
Even Elite took a very long time and in the end it got even the stretch goals...
Also Chris is working on more content to show and more game details. Still a long way to go but also quite some time left.

As I mention only a few posts back, the Elite:Dangerous campaign was twice as long.

Anyway, surely Wildman discussion is better placed here: New (Game) from the TA(and Co.) Developers

We don't need to spread it across two threads. This one is for CT's opinions on PA no?

All you have to do is look at the history of any general kickstarter to know how it goes. There are exceptions, but the general way these go hasn't changed. I only seen a few that zoomed at start because they where obviously ready for kickstarter. See Godus as a prime example, same issue Chris is having atm.

I've replied to this in the correct thread (see the link above).

    Project is dead IMO.

Honestly Uber did what GPG should have.

If anything this thread has reminded me how lucky we are that PA is being made. Just imagine: a basically Carmack-tier coder and a dream team of RTS devs commit to working themselves to the bone for the ultimate large scale RTS, with no publisher interference, nothing but their own vision modified by intense fan feedback. It's a dream come true, except a year ago you wouldn't even dream it. Interesting times :D

That interview makes me really sad. The idea that CT's building games he's not really all that into is really unfortunate.
