    In Houston, we have rolling blackouts. It's like Little House On The Prairie up in here. Sucks when you home office and you're trying to get stuff done to have your electricity go out...especially when you have electric heat. It's 20 degrees out there!

    Im pretty sure here in Nova scotia, Canada were starting to get some of that storm now . Lots of snow on the way for us here :(

    Icy roads = class getting canceled tomorrow. Don't even need snow!

    yep. im here too, know how it feels. i dunno why no blackouts where i live, but anywhere else its really stopping anything from being done. businessess, places of entertainment, stores... but even tho i have power i dont have water. idk wtf happened there, if the apartment let a pipe bust they are idiots.

    I'm just glad it didn't snow as bad as it did earlier this winter. Shoveling our big *** drive-way sucks because I have to throw it 6 feet high. Sounds like we didn't receive as much of a pounding as you other Midwesterners.

    I promised pictures of after the storm so here they are. This the day after i took those first pics. about 1:30pm. The snow stopped around 9am and the shovels and plows had been working all morning. As you can tell.
