Cannot play MNC anymore

As for being adversarial, if we're going to build this community, people have to play by some ground rules and that means not attacking other forum members because their opinions are different or not assume the worst in the devs because we haven't responded to one of thousands of threads. Its the internet, man. People are gonna be rude waaay too often. Just know that for every one person who is saying things like you quoted, there are multiple other people who have been made diehard fans of your company because of MNC.

All my friends have a list of developers they trust completely and will buy games from them day one, no questions. Common developers on all of our lists: Bioware, Bungie, and (since MNC came out) Uber. You guys do more than any other dev would do for an Arcade game and are obviously passionate about your work.

Keep up the good work and don't let random internet haters dissuade you guys from rocking the community with awesomeness. You have made tons of fans/loyal followers from the dedication and attention to detail you have displayed in MNC.

Here's a good example of the type of player we have currently. I was in a game with a very good player, upper level 90s, and he was hacking through glass panels with his Support so I called him out on it. He told me that he only does it because he knows that other players will do it so why not beat them to the punch? I explained that a cheat is still a cheat regardless of whether or not everyone else can do it.

In the end we ended up on the same team for most of the evening and he played with my friend and I without exploiting any other glitches. We won almost every game despite running into many players using various glitches. He taught me a few tricks so now I know what to look for when something random occurs, like hacking through solid walls (not glass).

The problem is that most players simply do not see using glitches as cheating. With no accountability in online gaming, cheating has become a 'do unto others before they do unto you' mentality. Now I do understand that some types of glitches that were not intended do evolve gameplay but for the most part hacking through walls, speed glitching, using a lag switch, etc. are not intended nor do they evolve gameplay.

So why do so many players feel like cheating is allowed and expected? Is it really as simply as not being held responsible for their actions? If so, ban away or reset their stats! Uber has already shown us that they can manage the leaderboards so why not monitor the game and reset any player found using a glitch. I, for one, would love to see cheaters punished for their actions.

But seriously, the internet serves a valuable purpose of collecting all the anonymous hate and keeping it away from other real world areas.

Fix the internet and road rage quadruples resulting in car companies installing armor plating standard in all cars.

Teach me how to cheat.

Treating others with respect should be something you do without asking as well. Sarcasm has a time and place of course, but degrading a mod is probably not the best course of action considering how well they have treated the community as a whole. Respect is earned and Uber has my respect for how they are handling MNC, at least so far. If you feel otherwise then go frequent another game/forum, otherwise treat them with some respect please.

Hell I'm impressed you guys are attacking the leaderboards. Don't see that happening much out there.

I just dropped way too much cash on a pair of Turtle Beach X41's. The sound effects come across so much more vividly with them. I always had to keep my tv low when playing with teamies because the mic on the cheap pair would always pick it up.

Now draining poor aiming assaults to death sounds so .......... crispy bacon like.

I don't get how Ekanaut can joke around but I can't. I never meant disrespect by it, but you can't go and make a joke then turn around and get all pissy pants when someone else makes a joke. I said I really enjoy Uber's work and passion so far, and I've made it known I'm just joking around/busting balls.

When you're joking about cheating on the game we spent years on and doing it on our forums, yeah it's not funny to us.

I was........but at the fact you thought you were being funny in the first place. Just a tip but when trying to use humor on the internet....excessive use of the smileys goes a long way to clarifying your comments. Humour like sarcasm is hard to get across on the internet.
