True, but as far as video chips go, there isn't much difference. Mobile chipsets pretty much across the board are usually a full generation behind. My point was simply that laptops can be pretty viable gaming machines. I'd never say they're better than a desktop, but at least for me, more convenient most of the time.

I use a laptop for all my gaming because I needed it for school, university, and I've done a lot of travelling. It was fun playing SMNC in an unlit farm in Holland, or playing vvvvv and Primordia during an overnight train from Kittila to Tampere in Finland
