    Physical sense?

    Also, I understand the reservations of hanging air be dominant.

    Could have land and navy interact with orbital however.

    Just because they could shoot at orbital, doesn't mean that they would be great at hitting all of the stuff coming down.

    Hanging around in orbital should be the goal, killing surface targets should....making bomb bots and vanguards ideal candidates for 'hot drops'.

    That would make no sense at all. It would be ridiculous on so many levels if the Anchor had less manoeuvrability than the ISS.

    Be patient, balancing would be the last step(at least not the first few steps) to do. So live with the new units when they just implemented, I believe developers have plans for that. As for your suggestion I guess it's reasonable :)
