Nah, you can say **** just normally. See? My name is ****. I am a ****. I have a big ****. Etc. Anyway, it feels as if lag days are over. I played five hours lag-free last night.
I'm enjoying Brink. Although there just is something about it which doesn't make me want to jump on it everyday like MNC or a Call of Duty game would. It's fun with friends but has very little solo play except Campaign which is utterly hopeless on anything higher than Easy, solo, because the bots actually may have some sort of mental problems (Medics running away from you, team mates shooting you, running away from objectives). I think once I complete the Campaign on all modes and get most of the gamerscore this game won't really interest me. I just don't like how the online is pretty much the same as Campaign, there is no real difference except you don't get the Campaign achievements and you play against people. I think it needs a party/lobby system. Invite friends then search for games. And take bots out of online, damn. I think the game is good but no lasting value. For me, anyhow.
Which classes? I honestly would have had it faster if I wasn't trying to grind the Gears 3 beta stuff for retail in a few days.
I GOT IT. And it's actually kind of fun. Playing ninja operative and running everywhere is quite entertaining.
Does anyone like playing the light class? I think for the health you take off the little extra mobility isn't worth it, and that there's not enough uses of walljumping to make them a good option compared to the medium. Also deadstrech do you own a mic? you never have it in
Yes I own a mic. My brother has been using it these past few days. I'll see if I can get it back from him today.
I do. I have a light operative, might also make a light medic or something. After I wrap up these characters I'm gonna start making hybrids.
ALSO, I would muchly appreciate some co-op multiplayer partners. GT is Deadpool FTW, if by some godforsaken reason you don't know already. ALSO ALSO, I play a BEEFCAKE engineer that often buffs his team too much for his own good so he has no supplies left to throw nades to cover his dopey ***.
I like the light class because of the mobility and because I'm used to using troll-ish tactics with risky characters like running away and shooting people in the back. If I stick around an area for extended defense, it's only because a bunch of my team mates are backing me up. Otherwise I'm exploring the map for flanking routes and wall jump opportunities. I've found some interesting flanks the past few days even though the map design isn't as parkour creative as Splash Damage makes it out to be.
I tried a light operative, but I got kind of bored. It didn't fit my playstyle. BUT I LOVE THE BEEFCAKE ENGINEER. Defends LIKE A BAWS, has awesome buffs, and can improve control points effectiveness. And I use the heavy so I can use the MGs, since I like to stay back and buff my team while covering us with turrets, mines, and suppressive fire. A good engineer can make getting past an escort mission damn near impossible.
If you capture a command post and do not switch to engineer to upgrade it followed by switching to operative to firewall it you are a bad man. Also there is a bug going around that allows light builds to equip heavy weapons that I enjoyed way too much yesterday.
