the revolver and MP are actually exclusive guns. sadly, the revolver is statistically the same as one already in the game, and the MP is actually slightly worse.
Since they are statistically the same, I'd call them remodels then. Not a skin since the shape changes.
there are skins and individual guns. the doom pack comes with skins (camos in-game) and the spec ops pack comes with an MP.
Been reading some initial reviews and one of the biggest concerns I have is the lack of a pre game lobby. Supposedly the only way you can get into a party is if one friend is already in the match then he can invite dudes into the game. I hope I'm misunderstanding this and this isn't the only way to group with friends. On the other hand, everything I've read about the multiplayer says it's very fun and extremely satisfying, so much so it makes up for the nearly non existing single player campaign. Oh well, gamestop opens in 8 hours and ill be on for most of the day if someone wants to peep things with me, my GT is krunkthuzad.
Eh, I have mixed feelings. Yeah, sitting in a lobby waiting for it to fill up sucks, but if that means myself and four of my mates can't join my team so we cab play together, that's really bad and counter intuitive to what I'm looking for in an online shooter. Also BOTS. If I wanted to fight BOTS I would play mnc blitz. I understand its to get the player to the action quicker but still, I want to play with friends not some lame AI. Hopefully the matchmaking is something they address in the day one patch.
Over hyped is the general opinion but I chalk that up to people not knowing the cool lines or what exactly you can jump off of. Slide tackling looks hilarious.
damn i don't wanna have to wait and extra week for this better be worth it, at least i can look at some videos of it before getting it then

After like five minutes of research I've decided to roll with a heavy medic build. You can knock enemies down by hitting them with say, a grenade launcher and the inertia from the projectile will knock them down. Then the 'nade detonates and knocks them over again. Ima be an indestructible tank of healing and buffing juggernaut of beefcake.
God that sounds awesome.... So you think its worth getting? Was gonna go get it after work today, but I wanna know what you guys think of it first...
