Tampa with bayonet and belgo mp with the alt knife is a really good set up for the operative. Also gatling turrets suck balls just as much as the light turret.
I only use it when my primary runs out but most of the time i use the bayonet. If you slide tackle them with the bayonet it counts as a melee with knife damage.
Yep, it comes up melee after the tackle so one more hit and theyre done and if you slide towards a friendly they will say "dont point that thing at me" lol Edit; I think the galactic is a much better all rounder, the time it takes me to burst fire at somebody with the tampa is enough time for me to die (great at very close range). The cross is also a decent secondary with drum mag, its weak but dead on.
what are your set ups? this is what ive been using Soldier the semi automatic AR, with iron sights the first pistol
Ive been pretty much trying everything to find what i like the most, but here is what i use so far; Soldier-Gotlung/lobster/rhett (rape class) Medic-Gotlung/cross (Let em come to you) Engineer-Rhett/tampa (defensive) Operative-Galactic/cross/pistol (not focusing on kills more sabotage)
i play a soldier/engineer, prefer soldier because not a lot of people in my brink group play soldier. either medium or light, but i use the same weapon loadout regardless of body type. dont like ARs, shotgun/GL is too situational. my loadout is: SMG: Galactic with standard mag, yeotech sight, bayonet and of course, a muzzle break. i like the galactic spread a lot. it doesnt have great damage, but it works great for cleaning up after a grenade. the bayonet i use to make up for the lack of close range the galactic has. or tampa with front grip, muzzle break, yeotech sight and standard mags. great for close range combat, not much else. hipfire only of course. Pistol: Kalt with speed holster and muzzle break Relatively powerful pistol that has good rate of fire and accuracy, and amazing equip speed. it compliments the galactic very well with its slow reload. or Sea Eagle with muzzle break and rapid fire self explanatory.great longer range weapon to offset the drawbacks of the tampa. or Caesar revolver with muzzle break and acog sight. better at long range than seagle, worse at close range. trying to get the tokmak to work, but i cant find its power anywhere.
pros: the gun does not kick up as much allowing for more accurate fire cons: very slight decrease in bullet drop off range. ---
For me it seems to kill the damage, ive been told its not to bad on the smgs though. Have either of you tried the EZ NADE yet? Never had such a laugh on brink. Soldier class is a must because it eats rounds.
it multiplies the damage by 0.85. it is widely considered useless however because even if you are not on the radar, almost everyone uses combat intuition. --- desert falcon: do you use a muzzle brake on your current weapon?
No i do not and i can aim perfectly well (BC2 burst fire style) so silencer is pretty much useless...GOT IT! EZ NADE? will be trying that out soon
i tell you what falcon: the best way to see how much effect a muzzle break has is to put it on the revolver, and play with it for a match, then play the next match without it. you can feel it. trust me. the only gun i have that doesnt have a muzzle break is the barnet. every single other gun i have uses a muzzle break.
works really good with that Rokstedi gun im using, havent tried it on any other guns atm, but will keep experimenting
I looked into this game a month or so ago, and it looked like a blast. Then i looked into it further, i was about to go out and buy the game, and noticed trends in feedback. Mostly people complained about lag, stuff about crap AI, and online being not-so-fun. How do you guy like it? What are the game's 'pros' and 'cons', would you say? I still think it looks like a great game but alot of complaints leave me skeptical.
