Except it's not the speaking up that's being complained about. It's the borderline abusive crap people start spouting in terms of skill/ability/"you're doing it wrong." This comprises a good chunk of the rebuttals to any complaint about balance. It's disingenuous and dickish, and has little purpose outside of attacking someone else or reassuring yourself.

If you have a counter argument, fine. most people can't make one, though. They resort to logical fallacies (I'm good at class X, so class X isn't underpowered) or ad hominems (you suck) or a combination of the two (learn your role).

I agree, It does get pretty hostile here.

Maybe some sub forums to help filter some of the touchy topics would help.
But what if everyone was agreeing on how perfect the class balance was? I'm sure it would make you much happier to see everyone in the forums getting along.

On a semi-related note, I want to bounce off Justin's comment to say I think it may be a good idea to add sub-forums for each of the classes. It would be a lot easier to find information about a particular class in the strategy/tactics sections, etc. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Ya im all for sub forums

The tactics/strats forum is getting more and more cluttered
    People posting similar threads ect

Would be simple, we don't want a sticky concerning tactics and basic info on every class in there do we?

As for the topic at hand
just take posts with a grain of salt so to speak

Some people are friendly and helpful, others not so much

    and please...don't feed the trolls

I get annoyed to by some people, but it has been said before: ignore the trolls and befriend the quality people to make your life easier.

I find the most aggravating thing that some members (those with personal issues) post useless or irrelevant replies (heavily based on bragging) on your topic, thereby destroying what could be a constructive topic. This is the hardest thing to get by.

But then again: the high quality people make up for it... usually :|

    On a sidenote:

Shoryken.com seems to handle this issue rather well. It's just an example.
Just want to say they have some "protocol" to deal with it.
