Totally blown away by how well you chaps did. I suspect you'll garner more votes next time :)

Also want to say how pleased I am with the turnout. Much to my delight every team arrived (including the reserve team), even if one team wasn't able to play because one player arrived too late.

The bad news: the recording of all the games is corrupt.

The good news: successfully recovered the recording from hitbox

I believe he played without the PAG tag which clearly lost him his powers.

Haha yeah I don't think they noticed a lot of the pro strats we were using. :p. Glad they noticed picking the fabber up and moving him around in the island. Most fun 40 seconds I had in the tourney.

In case you weren't aware, we link every game to PA Stats the eXodus matches page so you can pull up the replays of all of them.

Now I feel bad for whining about multiplanets.

But I'll have some awesome multiplanet systems which are impossible to have a stalemate on by next week maybe. Got too much work right now :) And they won't take long amounts of time either. Metal density is ultimately the thing that lags the server, not system size.

I quite like Dr Boggles map pack for the mirrored multi planet systems, but they're about the only maps of the sort that I've seen.

One of the other VoW guys has also made an interesting system with the two ranked naval maps and the water planet from our clan wars system in a single system.

All have multiplanet starts so there's not the issue with problems invading the other planet.

Yeah I agree with quitch here. The games can take way too long, I suppose a multi planet system with no moons and an metal planet could work. At least then you know the game is over when or if someone builds the annihilazors. That being said casters tend to miss a lot of action even on single planet systems so most likely miss more on multi ones too.

Cannopus from [BRN] and [NW]Narah have great multiplanet systeme, and they are really balanced.

And i'm not agree with you clopse, when a match are casted, its casted by 2 man. So with the ping, PIP and second PIP, camera anchor you can't miss lot of action.

Make sure you save in versions and recheck your planets. I find the advanced editor + multiple planets very very buggy.

The thing is that you can lose a LOT of work on multiplanet savings. I tried some today and it just wouldn't save csg changes on a moon so i'm gonna back off from it for now. Too risky and the recent planet tab and saved planet tabs aren't working properly too with planets that use the advanced system editor.
