In the mean time, Ubies v4 are about to be announced so be sure to keep an eye out for new folks. If you have any friends you enjoy gaming with, then have them sign up and contribute. There will be prizes and victory speeches.

It's only been like two weeks, should probably give it more time before a new ubies and for more people to frequent the forums. Unless we can keep up the pace like last night with so many games, I kinda feel the sample size people have seen each other could use at least another week or two

I was going to open thread May 1st and have votes go all month.

That could work. Will voting stay within the current players? Vets excluded? Select people excluded? Maybe previous winners excluded? Or vote for whoever since we will hopefully get a new wave of voters to see their opinions and how they differ, and where they are alike

Current plan is to allow voting based on play since last ubies. All is fair game, each category to have a "best new comer" section where the person being voted cant have gotten any votes in the category for previous ubies. Hopefully can satisfy vets and show props to new arrivals this way.

Newcomer and overall voting seems like a good idea. Newcomers should be eligible for both. Maybe a newcomer who is say best newcomer sniper could also sneak into 2nd or 3rd best overall. Purely an example

Is my voice that loud in game as it is in the videos, I have been trying to move my mic farther away since the first set of recorded games but it isn't helping at all.

Yes it is. I did nothing to mod the sound, it is as relatively loud as everyone elses - please keep in mind that I have the game volume to 1 and chat volume to 10, so don't base it on how loud you sound compared to the game. I am hard of hearing so do that to understand you guys.

I was thinking about trying to reach multiple old fillers from privates. I'm gonna ask some old friends, dig through some lists, some threads to find the old PM gt list. One of them I had in mind was mongoose.
