Oh, but I've quickly realized (painfully) just how amazing those goddamn explosive rounds are. Good area damage plus accidental kills on unaware pros? Well don't that just beat all...

And I don't see the big deal about assaults lane pushing, but hey, it is a grenade launcher after all. I won't deny it will get the job done in a comparable amount of time.

I am a very, very good lane pusher. on my gb team, if we do 3v3, i usually take a lane by myself and my other 2 teammates take the other because they know i can usually handle my own, even if i get doubled. and my class of choice? the assassin, the shurikans i use as my primary.. shoot bots out then when blackjacks get close i lunge them and take em out in a single swipe and get my bots into their base without them having to stop and take damage. my other class of choice is the sniper, it is great too, especially with a lvl 3 sniper. takes out multiple bots at once.

I can push pretty well with support early in the game. I say early, because this is when the bot groups are 2 slims and one blackjack. I try to line up the slims so that I can shoot one shotgun blast and kill them both, then grapple the blackjack and bam.. enemy bots cleared with hardly any damage done to my bots. Even if there was damage, I can heal & overheal them as we advance to the next group of enemy bots.

I also like doing this as support in case we run into any enemy pros. Most of them will have a hard time hitting me through all the fodder, whereas I can use my heal/hurt gun to drain them while using my bots for cover. This works well against most classes, but gunners usually tear right through me so I wind up backing off when I come up against them while pushing. Assassins? Bring it on! I'm always on the lookout for cloaked assassins, and love nothing more than getting a sweet 1-shot shotgun kill on those little b**ches.
